Dr (Mrs) Oluyemisi Adeyemi-Bero
Dr Oluyemisi Adeyemi- Bero is a Family Practice Physician with over 20 years post-graduation experience; She trained as a specialist in Family Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA (Board Certified) and also had some years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK.
As a Fertility Specialist her pregnancy rates following treatment cycles is comparable to International standards. She has a working knowledge of IVF clinical procedures within an internationally certified ISO environment; she has participated in research work geared towards the enhancement of the outcome of Assisted Reproductive Techniques procedures. Her areas of interest include the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Rejuvenating Ovarian Function in those with diminished ovarian reserve as seen in older women and younger women with premature ovarian failure.
Dr Yemisi Adeyemi-Bero is committed to the provision of high standard medical care and active involvement in Community health services.
Having gone through the journey of infertility herself before being blessed with two beautiful children, she is able to walk with her patients through the fertility process from that perspective and help them process the complexities of their options. This allows her bring a great level of personal attention to each of her patients and the art of A.R.T( Assisted Reproductive Therapy ) continues to be one of her greatest life passions as evident in the relentless efforts she puts into helping her patients attain the ultimate goal of a pregnancy, motherhood/parenthood.

Dr Babajide Akinkunmi Somade; BSc (Hons), MSc., PhD.
Prior to joining the Alpha Assisted Reproductive Klinic in 2012 Dr Somade managed the EKO Andrology Laboratory and Cryobank. A graduate of the University of Ife, Ile-Ife where he obtained a BSc. Degree (1971) in Animal Science and from the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada an MSc. in 1973 and a PhD. in 1977 in Reproductive Physiology.
After graduation from Guelph he lectured in the Department of Animal Science of the Obafemi Awolowo University at Ile-Ife. He was a member of the reproductive physiology team teaching and research in animal reproduction while supervising undergraduate research projects and supervising masters and doctorate students. Dr Somade has been author and co-author of numerous peer reviewed articles published in scientific journals on topics in reproduction and fertility. He has spoken frequently at meetings around the country and abroad on reproduction and fertility.
On leaving Ile-Ife, he joined the staff of the Biology Department of the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata, Maryland from where he left for the Genetic and IVF Institute in Fairfax Virginia where he received training and mentoring by Michael L. Norton as an Andrology Laboratory Technologist. A position he held for a number of years before he was hired by the Shady Grove Fertility Clinic, Shady Grove, Maryland, USA as the Andrology Laboratory Supervisor. He hired, trained and supervised staff for five Andrology laboratories in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. He is a member of the Association for Fertility and Reproductive Health and the European Society of Human Reproduction Embryology.
Dr Olajumoke OGUNRO (MBBs FWACS)
A Humanitarian and seasoned gynaecologist, Dr Olajumoke Ogunro has a bias for improving healthcare for and among women in particular through the continuous enlightenment of her gender through various channels.
She started her career over a decade ago after graduating from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. She commenced her residency programme to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and upon completion started her career. She has special interest in improving fertility in women especially those with diminished ovarian reserve.
Her drive to keep her gender thoroughly enlightened continues to be a propelling force in her career as she has facilitated in many programmes and seminars to help create the necessary awareness and disseminate relevant information to her audience.
She is currently working as a Gynaecologist / Fertility specialist at the Alpha Assisted Reproductive Klinic (The ARK).
Rachel Oga
Rachel Oga is a registered Nurse and Midwife. Her work experience over the years covers Nursing administration and hospital management. She worked with St. Nicholas hospital for 7 years, rising to hold various supervisory roles. She spent another 5 years with an IVF clinic in Lagos (The Bridge Clinic) where she pioneered the set up and administration of its Port -Harcourt branch and later became the Head, Nursing Services for the Bridge Clinic’s three (3) clinics in Nigeria. She jointly pioneered the set-up of The Roding Reproductive Centre in Lekki, Phase 1 from April 2010 to July 2011. Roles included fertility nursing technical support, counselling IVF clients, administration, HR management, training, quality process management, customer service.
Rachael has an experiential knowledge of working according to internationally standardised assisted reproductive techniques which was instrumental to the award of the TUV ISO certification of The Bridge Clinic Port Harcourt
She has written several articles on fertility issues in the Bridge Clinic journal and attended trainings and workshops within and outside Nigeria.
Her Nursing training was at the schools of Nursing and Midwifery, Makurdi – Benue State, 1989 – 1994.
